What Real Madrid need to do to beat Barcelona!

The 2 horse race or also known as the La Liga has been under the complete dominance of the Barcelona dream team of Josep Guardiola. The beautiful Total Football/ Tikki Takka style of play has many plaudits for showing the true meaning of the Beautiful game.

Real Madrid's season for sure has been of disappointment, the failure to stop Barcelona's dominance and the mayhem caused during the 5 El Classico's.  Yet what can Real Madrid do in order to beat Barcelona?

There are many ways to beat Barcelona and recapture the La Liga.

Again, please forget the players that have been chosen, since Nuri Sahin and fellow Turk Hamit Altintop have joined the club. Barcelona's weakness stems from the opposing team playing a high defensive line. The reason is to pressurise Barcelona into their own half. What this could lead to is easy interception, and with the quality of Real Madrids attackers, this could lead to good old fashioned break rather than Mourinho's negative anti-football tactics that were displayed in the 2-0 loss in the UCL semi final first leg.

Also, what I have seen  is heavy reliance on Ronaldo. Major mistake, never rely on one player. Real Madrid boast some of the best playmakers in the world, for sure Ronaldo is a fantastic player yet Real Madrid have many other outlets such as Kaka, Khedira, Ozil and now Sahin.

Finally, What has been noted with Barcelona's style of play is the direct quick passing. majority of their play is central compared to numerous other teams who utilise the wings. With Real Madrid's taller players and quality they should be able to beat players like Puyol, Alves and Abidal. Barcelona might be untouchable at the moment, but their not unbreakable.
